When does the platform launch?

The Drums Alive Streaming Platform launches April 15, 2026. Early Adopter pricing (first 25 facilities) will be available starting at 9am EST on launch day.

Do we need special equipment?

You’ll need: A TV, computer, or tablet to display classes; stability balls (exercise balls) for participants; drumsticks; and an internet connection for streaming. We provide equipment guidance and purchasing recommendations as part of your subscription.

What if we already have a licensed Drums Alive instructor?

Perfect! Our Licensed Instructor Supplement pricing ($59/month) is specifically designed for facilities that want to expand their existing program. Use the streaming platform to offer classes when your instructor isn’t available, add evening or weekend time slots, provide coverage during vacations, or give your instructor a break without canceling classes. Many facilities use the “hybrid model” – live instructor classes 2-3 times per week, supplemented with streaming classes for additional time slots.

How many classes are included?

At launch (April 15), you’ll have 10-15 complete classes available immediately. We add 2 new classes every month, which means your library grows to 34-39 classes by the end of your first year. All classes are included in your subscription – no per-class fees.

What music will be used in classes?

Drums Alive Studio classes will provide a mix of high-quality covers and carefully curated royalty-free music specifically chosen to engage Drums Alive classes.

When will Drums Alive Studio for at-home users launch?

Drums Alive Studio, our at-home streaming platform for individual users, will launch June 1st, 2026. This will allow individuals to access Drums Alive classes from home at $24.99/month (or $14.99/month for current Drums Alive members). The facility platform launches first on April 15th, 2026.

Can we try it before committing?

We’re confident in the quality of our platform and the value it provides. While we don’t offer a free trial period, we do offer flexible monthly subscriptions that you can cancel anytime with 30 days notice. This allows you to test the platform with your participants and make sure it’s the right fit for your facility.

Is this replacing live Drums Alive instructors?

Not at all! Licensed instructors bring personal connection, real-time feedback, and community building that technology can’t replace. Our streaming platform exists to: bring Drums Alive to communities without instructor access, help facilities with budget constraints offer classes, supplement existing programs so instructors don’t burn out, and provide consistent programming across multiple locations. We love our licensed instructors and this platform is designed to expand Drums Alive’s reach, not replace the incredible work instructors do!

What happens if we need to cancel?

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime with 30 days notice. Annual subscriptions can be cancelled at renewal (we’ll remind you 30 days before). Early Adopter pricing locks in for 12 months, then converts to standard pricing (which you can accept or cancel).

Are there any setup fees or hidden costs?

No setup fees, no equipment rental fees, no per-participant charges, no hidden costs. Your monthly or annual subscription includes complete platform access, all current classes, monthly new content, technical support, and unlimited participants. The only additional costs would be purchasing equipment (stability balls, drumsticks) if you don’t already have them.
