Mathematical competence is vital in today’s world. Teachers have long been responsible for delivering meaningful and diversified math instruction to accommodate individual learning styles.

DRUMTASTIC® MATHEMATICS IN MOTION lessons are student-centered and incorporate unique, interesting, and fun modalities that are difficult or impossible to perform in traditional classroom settings.

The exploration lessons offer engaging learning experiences that recognize the role of discovery, utilizing concrete materials to represent real-world math applications. The instructional model facilitates a safe learning atmosphere where students learn through cooperation and trust and is designed to reinforce math concepts previously taught in the classroom. The instruction methods provide many elements of critical thinking skills which facilitate a deeper understanding by building on students’ prior knowledge. By reinforcing a past and present curriculum, students are provided with spiral review experiences that support reasoning processes in multiple settings.
