Erica Logan

Erica is a special education teacher in the United States whose passion is working with individuals with diverse abilities.  Her legacy of teaching, that includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education, as well as a Master’s Degree in Special Education, started back when she was a peer helper in middle school; but, then developed into an even deeper love for her craft through a very personal experience of having the honor of supporting and teaching her sister, who was born with a traumatic brain injury.  Erica dedicates the reputation she has garnered for igniting a student‘s desire to learn and helping them reach their full potential to her mother, who through her love for those with diverse abilities and her perseverance, developed a very successful program called, Superstars, and implemented the DRUMS ALIVE Program to enhance the learning and create that wonderful enriched environment that allows all to develop, create, and grow regardless of ability.  Like her mother, Erica learned about the various DRUMS ALIVE curriculums and uses them in her classroom; and, has witnessed the positive changes in her students and their excitement as they take part in this whole body, whole brain experience that allows her students to learn, participate in an exciting exercise program, develop social skills, and above all, HAVE FUN!
