Jen Dagati had always been physically fit, and joined the professional fitness industry in 1986 as a Certified Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor. She has owned a fitness studio, worked as a coordinating director for local fitness facilities, volunteered her talents at local and national community fitness events, and has been featured in several
live TV fitness program segments!
Jen has found a new passion with the program “Drums Alive”, despite the physical limitation of being born without a right hand. IDEA Fitness Journal highlighted the inspiration Jen provided to the founder of the “Drums Alive” program, Carrie Ekins, by participating in a Drums class using her newly developed product, which allowed Jen to drum with both “hands”.
Dedication to fitness and need to adapt to equipment, necessitated Jen to design adaptable fitness gloves. These gloves make it possible for all who wish to participate in exercise programs, especially those who may have thought it NOT possible, to overcome the physical limitations in handling equipment. Hence, the creation of the product named “jenjengloves”.
As with her life accomplishments, Jen proves physical limitations are NOT an option.

What?
Dr. Joe is joining the fitness industry?
Well for sure Dr. Joe is not leaving tennis…
Just adding fitness to the resume’
Joining Drums-Alive was a natural step following the total involvement of his wife Jen, who has become
the Licensed Partner of Drums Alive® in the US and Canada. As a result of his qualifications, he will bring additional insight to the business.
Well, just what are Dr. Joe’s qualifications?
Having graduated From The Ohio State University with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery, he successfully ran his office for 28 years and then retired. During this time he developed tremendous business and people skills.
For the past 15 years he has held a Professional Teaching Certificate for tennis, and during that time accomplished a National Ranking in Doubles through the USTA.
Additional training in the Martial Arts, in Kenpo Karate, he earned a 2nd degree Black Belt.
Continuing to use his scientific training, he was a professor at the college level teaching Anatomy & Physiology to pre-med/pre-nursing students. This knowledge is valuable to help educate our participants doing the Drums Alive® training.
Dr. Joe says we all need to pursue this, "just for the drum of it!"
